Dreams are so annoying.  Usually, my pregnancy dreams are completely bizarre.  Totally off-the-wall.  This time, there are some like that (though I’m remembering them less and less), but I’ve had TWO miscarriage dreams now.  So upsetting.  First one was 3 nights ago, then again last night.  Again, there were some big time clues that it wasn’t real.  Like some kind of alternate reality.  But still, in the moment, it feels really real.  The first time, I woke up pretty rattled.  This time, yeah it was upsetting, but I was more like, “your stupid brain, Erin,” and went back to sleep.  I hope this isn’t going to be a trend. 🙁  My fears aren’t really nagging all the time anymore, but apparently they are still there.

A couple of things on a happier note though:

I haven’t mentioned yet, there’s a sweet girl at one of my places of work who found out she is pregnant also!  And it’s sounding more and more like our due dates are going to be at around the same time, if not the exact same day.  SO FUN!  I’m so excited to have a “bump buddy,” and other than that I am just really overjoyed for her.

Other thing is a little story from today that totally cracked me up.  I might tell it wrong now because I was on my way out when I heard about this.  And it might make more sense when I can find out who said it.  But anyway.  I told one of the women at work (my other place of work) my news.  I think she might be the last one I told.  Not to really leave her out, but I was waiting to tell most work people until after I had my Dr appointment.  I ended up telling the other two ladies at this office though because I’ve known them for years now and they’re like my work moms.  She said, “That’s so weird.  I mean…congratulations!!  …But that is really weird.”  I was very curious to hear her elaborate, but then the phone rang.  When she got off the phone, she was helping someone with a warranty job, but she told me quickly: Some guy (a patient) was in a couple of days ago (??? unsure of time frame) and he told her (asked her?) that the Dr is pregnant.  She said something like, “No, I don’t think so….”  And he was like yeah I think so, but don’t tell her I said that.  HA!  I knew I was showing some bloat-belly in the afternoons!  Or maybe I said something to tip him off, depending on who it was.  I remember someone recently asking me if I had more kids, but it has been a while.  So I don’t know if it could have been him.  The woman at work couldn’t remember who said it, just that he came in with his wife.  She said she’d try to figure it out, and I hope she does because I’m dying to know who it was!
