Had a regular OB appointment on Wednesday.  Pretty run-of-the-mill stuff. I am happy to report that I was a little more “with it” this time compared to last time.  Not that that’s saying much.

First things first: peed in cup.  Sometimes I wonder if I’m going to be lectured because my pee is too yellow, like they’ll think I’m not getting enough water.  I think I’m doing pretty okay on that most days, but I often pee in the cup shortly after taking my prenatal vitamin, and that always throws off the color.

Anyway.  Had a bit of a wait again before getting called back.  Like 25-30 minutes.  Which I still feel isn’t all that bad for a Dr’s office at the end of the day. 

Weighed first.  I’ve gained about 18 lbs so far.  It seems I’ve been gaining pretty steadily, which is good.  Then Gail took my blood pressure, which I can only assume was normal since she didn’t say anything. =P  Didn’t wait long for the doctor to come in.  Am I feeling movement?  Yes.  Am I having any bleeding?  Nope.

She measured my uterus.  Right at 30 cm.  Felt to see if the baby is still head-down.  She is!  Heart rate was about 152 bpm.  I thought it sounded weird this time, but I guess it was just louder/bigger.  Dr didn’t say anything about it other than telling me the heart rate.

The doctor said it was amazing that all my notes are still on one page.  Go me!  Go baby girl!  She probably says all kinds of things to make patients feel good, but whatever.  I’ll take it.  Things are good!
