Had a regular OB appointment on Wednesday.\u00a0 Pretty run-of-the-mill stuff. I am happy to report that I was a little more “with it” this time compared to last time.\u00a0 Not that that’s saying much.<\/p>\n
First things first: peed in cup.\u00a0 Sometimes I wonder if I’m going to be lectured because my pee is too yellow, like they’ll think I’m not getting enough water.\u00a0 I think I’m doing pretty okay on that most days, but I often pee in the cup shortly after taking my prenatal vitamin, and that always throws off the color.<\/p>\n
Anyway.\u00a0 Had a bit of a wait again before getting called back.\u00a0 Like 25-30 minutes.\u00a0 Which I still feel isn’t all that bad for a Dr’s office at the end of the day.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Weighed first.\u00a0 I’ve gained about 18 lbs so far.\u00a0 It seems I’ve been gaining pretty steadily, which is good.\u00a0 Then Gail took my blood pressure, which I can only assume was normal since she didn’t say anything. =P\u00a0 Didn’t wait long for the doctor to come in.\u00a0 Am I feeling movement?\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 Am I having any bleeding?\u00a0 Nope.<\/p>\n
She measured my uterus.\u00a0 Right at 30 cm.\u00a0 Felt to see if the baby is still head-down.\u00a0 She is!\u00a0 Heart rate was about 152 bpm.\u00a0 I thought it sounded weird this time, but I guess it was just louder\/bigger.\u00a0 Dr didn’t say anything about it other than telling me the heart rate.<\/p>\n
The doctor said it was amazing that all my notes are still on one page.\u00a0 Go me!\u00a0 Go baby girl!\u00a0 She probably says all kinds of things to make patients feel good, but whatever.\u00a0 I’ll take it.\u00a0 Things are good!<\/p>\n
