We were at Walgreens recently to buy a card to mail Pete’s folks their ultrasound picture.\u00a0 While there, I thought it would be a good idea to get some dark chocolate peanut M&Ms.\u00a0 It was<\/em> a good idea.\u00a0 Because I ate some, and I liked it.\u00a0 I think Baby Girl liked it, too because she got a little sugar rush.\u00a0 I know it’s bad, but it was so fun to feel her being active.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t have to be M&Ms though.\u00a0 One afternoon, I made a microwave pizza for lunch.\u00a0 She went nuts!\u00a0 She either reaalllly liked it or reaalllly didn’t (I prefer to think it’s the former).\u00a0 But I loved feeling her dancing around in there.\u00a0 I can’t wait till I’m feeling her more.\u00a0 It seemed a little more frequent today, but it’s generally rather sporadic.<\/p>\n

Good news: FAR fewer headaches lately!\u00a0 WOOT!\u00a0 I hope I’m not speaking too soon.\u00a0 I had a little bit of one today, but I never even had to take Tylenol.\u00a0 It was brief and went away on its own.\u00a0 I was getting them almost every day for a while, so hopefully they won’t be such a frequent problem anymore.<\/p>\n

Potentially-problematic-but-funny-but-also-TMI news (you’ve been warned):\u00a0 I think maybe my boob leaked just a little really late Friday night.\u00a0 Uh oh.\u00a0 It was just a one time thing, and a very little bit, and only one boob.\u00a0 So I’m not totally <\/em>sure.\u00a0 But I don’t think I just got water on my shirt or anything.\u00a0 I had gone to bed, and I was on my side talking to Pete, so my boob was kind of squished up against my arm a little.\u00a0 And all of a sudden, I felt something cold.\u00a0 I looked down, and NO WAY!\u00a0 Already??<\/em> But it hasn’t been a problem yet, thankfully.<\/p>\n

My tummy…I feel like it’s going to be “out there” just any day now.\u00a0 Some days it feels like I have been doing a bunch of sit-ups when I’ve been doing absolutely nothing even remotely like sit-ups.\u00a0 It’s like my abdominal muscles are trying to fight it.\u00a0 (Maybe that’s why I’ve felt all along that I “show” more at night time.\u00a0 Maybe my abdominal muscles are more fatigued?\u00a0 That’s not scientific at all.\u00a0 Just a theory.)<\/p>\n

I feel like my belly showed up on Thursday.\u00a0 Not a lot, but definitely something there.\u00a0 Just…all of a sudden.\u00a0 Like it wasn’t there Wednesday even.\u00a0 Today at work, one of my coworkers told me I had “popped.” =)\u00a0 (A few minutes later, someone asked me if I was sure<\/em> I was pregnant, but I was sitting down.)\u00a0 I’ll let you be the judge.\u00a0 Finally got around to asking Pete to take a picture.\u00a0 (Actually, last couple of days were spent working on the house in my pajamas, so I wouldn’t really allow a picture anyway.)<\/p>\n

I don’t wear shirts that tight to work (though Pete approved when I changed into this shirt for the purpose of the picture), but there is definitely more there than there was in my last pic.\u00a0 Just a little bit to go before strangers start getting brave enough to ask….<\/p>\n

I think my belly button is ALREADY in the beginning stages of popping!!\u00a0 Knowing the structure of my belly button, I kind of thought this would happen.\u00a0 It’s not popping yet, but half of it really wants to.\u00a0 It is already more shallow.\u00a0 I wonder how much longer….<\/p>\n

I forgot to mention last time….\u00a0 Since I learned at my ultrasound that Baby Girl likes to use my bladder as a pillow, that night I went to bed and I thought out loud, “I wonder if she’d move up a little if I did a headstand?” (Or attempted some other less risky acrobatic feat.)\u00a0 My next thought was noooo, no, no.\u00a0 Don’t want to drop my baby on her head. =P\u00a0 I’m not even worried about myself and acrobatics.\u00a0 Just don’t want to drop my kid on her head before she’s even born.<\/p>\n

Before I get all kinds of comments about how a pregnant lady doesn’t need to be an acrobat, let me clarify:\u00a0 I wasn’t envisioning an ACTUAL headstand.\u00a0 More like that trick I used to try to help the spermies along in their journey.\u00a0 Raise my legs and butt waayy up in the air and kind of prop myself up on my shoulders.\u00a0 (If I remember correctly, I didn’t even bother trying this the month I actually GOT pregnant, so don’t bother with acrobatics…I’m not convinced they help.\u00a0 Maybe it was even hindering their progress. *lol*)<\/p>\n

Did I really just admit to that??<\/p>\n

Back on topic!\u00a0 Tomorrow morning I get my flu shot.<\/p>\n

Cartoon baby time.\u00a0 About 6 inches long!\u00a0 I’m still amazed that I’m capable of growing one of these. =)<\/p>\n
